He’s far too modest: In fact, he’s been “working” on the crisis for years. I’m honestly speechless. If you’re not, read this or watch this and you will be. O’Reilly, who’s never speechless, sums things up well enough below.
Naturally, Frank’s response to McCain reminding voters of his complicity in the subprime crisis is to accuse him of homophobia, just like he accused the GOP of racism for linking the economic crisis to the mortgage disaster, just like he accused Bush of “ethnic cleansing by hurricane”
to squeeze a few extra political points out of Katrina. The man never
met a bad-faith accusation he didn’t like. And his party loves him.
